We do not sell your information, and we never will. That's the short version. Here's the rest.
When you use the Vault to invest in MGC, we collect the minimum needed to fulfill your order: your email address (for order confirmation and support), your MGC wallet address (to send your coins to), and payment confirmation details from whichever payment method you use (PayPal, Bitcoin, mailed gold/silver, or a mailed money order).
If you pay by mailing physical gold or silver, we also collect the metal type and quantity you declare, and — because you are transferring ownership of that metal to us — your full legal name as an electronic signature on the release of ownership, along with the timestamp and IP address at the time of signing. We do not require an account, and we do not collect more than this.
Orders of $1,000 or more, regardless of payment method, require identity verification before coins are sent, consistent with our FinCEN AML obligations. This verification is performed by SumSub, a third-party identity verification provider, and may include your name, a government-issued ID, and a liveness (selfie) check. That information is collected and processed directly by SumSub under their own privacy policy — we receive only your verification result (approved or not), not the underlying documents or biometric data.
Your email, wallet address, and order details are used only to process and fulfill your vault order, to email you your transaction confirmation or shipping/mailing instructions, to verify your identity where required, and to respond if you contact us for support. Nothing else.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. We do not use third-party ad trackers or analytics that profile you individually. Payment processing for card/PayPal orders is handled by PayPal directly under their own privacy policy — we never see or store your full payment card details.
Order records (wallet address, email, amount, status, and, where applicable, signature and tracking information) are kept for as long as needed for support, fraud prevention, and legal/accounting and AML recordkeeping requirements tied to our FinCEN MSB registration. You can request deletion of your contact information at any time by emailing us, subject to what we're legally required to retain for financial recordkeeping.
Once coins are sent to your wallet address, that transaction is recorded permanently on the public MGC blockchain, as with any cryptocurrency. This is inherent to how blockchains work and is not something we control or can reverse.
